About Coterie Environmental
Coterie Environmental is a consulting firm that provides professional environmental services for clients who operate combustion systems. We work with both industrial and government clients that operate units such as hazardous waste combustors (incinerators, boilers, and furnaces), industrial solid waste incinerators, and industrial boilers. We assist these clients in their efforts to comply with all combustion-related regulatory requirements under Federal and State Clean Air and Hazardous Waste programs. We strive to be the leading provider of combustion-related environmental and engineering services.
Heather is a chemical engineer with 30 years of experience in the permitting of combustion and incineration sources. She is a recognized expert in a host of combustion-related regulations. Heather provides assistance to clients with permitting, process design, incineration, air pollution control, and risk assessment.
Michele has 20 years experience in projects involving a variety of combustion processes, including hazardous waste incineration, fossil fuel combustion, and open burning and open detonation of explosives. Her favorite projects involve those that combine the design or troubleshooting of combustion devices and strategic permitting efforts. She also enjoys training clients, whether helping operators understand the complexities of their combustion and APC processes, or helping management understand how to optimize their process and reduce environmental deviations.
